Managed firewalls
The box between your business and the internet decides what gets in. We install it, lock it down, keep its firmware current and act on its alerts, so it keeps doing that job long after install day.
What’s included
- Firewall selection, install and configuration
- Separate networks for staff, guests, cameras and payments
- Secure remote access for staff and owners with Tailscale or VPN
- Firmware updates on a set schedule
- Threat and outage alerts sent to us, not just logged
- Internet failover to a second line, LTE or Starlink
Who it’s for
Any business with a card terminal, a camera system or remote staff. Rural locations benefit most from failover, where one cut line can close the doors.
Where
On site across the Black Hills, including Belle Fourche, Spearfish, Sturgis, Deadwood, Lead, Rapid City, Box Elder, Hill City, Keystone, Custer and Hot Springs. Remote work anywhere.

Switch between a flat network and a segmented one, then pick a square in the table to send traffic from one group to another.
Questions about managed firewalls
Our internet provider gave us a router. Isn’t that a firewall?
It’s a basic one. It doesn’t keep guest Wi-Fi away from your POS, alert anyone to attacks or get regular updates.
Can you manage a firewall we already own?
Usually. If it’s still supported by its maker, we take it over. If not, we’ll quote a replacement.
